Olivier Jérusalmy is currently managing the recently created international NGO Financial Inclusion Europe.

He is a member of the: –  Expert Group on European Financial Data Space (DG FISMA) – the extended Expert Group on Insolvency (DG Just). Former member of the: –  Financial Services User Group (DG FISMA/DG JUST) and the – Expert group of Digital Ethics in Insurance (EIOPA).

He was Director of the European Financial Inclusion Network (EFIN) as well as Senior Researcher for the Belgian NGO Réseau Financité (11 years),  specialised in sustainable and ethical finance. He spent two years as Senior Research and Advocacy Officer at Finance Watch.
He chairs the Board of Directors of a Brussels-based NGO Centre d’Appui, which provides training and support for Brussels’ debt advisors for the last 15 years.

He started his carrier as a credit analyst in a financial cooperative to provide credit to NGOs and cooperatives excluded from the mainstream credit market. He developed the first pilot project in Wallonia to provide vulnerable households with sustainable social micro-credits.

He holds  Masters Degrees in Economics and in Political Sciences.
